Executive Profile
Air Marshal (Retd) Rashid Kamalis associated with Techsystems International (Pvt) Ltd as Senior Consultant Business Development. He has 34 years of experience in operational excellence including serving in leadership roles in Pakistan Airforce. He brings in-depth knowledge of organizational, managerial and first-hand expertise of fighter aircraft operations and overall air safety procedures. During his career he has been closely associated with Dassault Mirage (French series of aircraft), while overseeing effective operations including functions of various sub-systems such as radar, avionics, communications and weapon systems.
He has excellent experience of serving in leadership roles such as serving at Pakistan Airforce training academy twice, managing overall PAF HR function as DCAS (Personnel) and ACAS (Safety Management Centre). He also has served as instructor at (NDU) National Defence University and also was commandant/ Dean NS College.
For his outstanding service and commitment to his work he was awarded military awards of (Hilal-i-Imtiaz) and (Sitara-i-Imtiaz) by Government of Pakistan. His diplomatic and people to people contact skillswere highlighted by the Government by his appointment as Pakistan Ambassador to Syria.
He holds a Master Degree in Strategic Studies from NDU Pakistan, apart from participating in numerous international and local courses.
was commissioned in PAF on October 1981. He had a long and distinguished career spanning over 34 years. During his service, he held several prestigious appointments, including command of a Fighter Squadron, a Fighter Wing, and the biggest Fighter Base of PAF, housing over 35,000 personnel. He also had the honour of serving twice at the PAF Academy Risalpur – first as the Commandant College of Flying Training, and the second time as the Air Officer Commanding of the esteemed Alma Mater. At the Air Headquarters, he served as Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Safety Management Centre) and Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Personnel). Additionally, he served twice at the National Defence University as Directing Staff and as Commandant/Dean NS College, NDU.
